The location is so amazing. We pride ourselves on being almost beachfront and extremely walkable location to use as your base in San Pedro, Belize. Walk through the Drift Inn Sandbar Corridor to reach the beach front and delicious restaurants and great dive shops. Through our street entrance, it is less than one minutes walk to the local supermarkets and veggies stands. Many food stands can be found within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. From the San Pedro Belize Express dock in San Pedro, we are a 8-minute walk north on the beach. You’ll be located in the heart of San Pedro in the Boca Del Rio area if you stay at Drift Inn.
Drift Inn Private Rooms and Dorms
Our hotel in San Pedro provides everything you may need! Each hotel room at Drift Inn features premium mattresses and pillows outfitted from a local Belizean factory. In the vibrant rooms you’ll find local art pieces, some original and some prints. Every room has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The hotel provides hot water and air conditioners in each room. You’ll be delighted to have a mini-fridge, coffee maker, cups, and cutlery in each room as well. Housekeeping is available daily for nightly guests and weekly for long-term guests.
Our Budget Double Room is great for a long-term stay or quick overnight trip. The Queen Rooms offer larger beds perfect for couples. Our Quad and Family Room accommodate 4-7 people, to fit your entire group in one room. Our six bed dorm has a keycode lock, curtains, outlets with each bed, lockers, and an ensuite bathroom.

Drift Inn not only offers an amazing place to stay, but also has many great amenities to enjoy. First, the hotel has a communal outdoor kitchen where you can prepare your own food. Next, enjoy our courtyard with a relaxing small pool where you can take a break between activities or take a small siesta. Then, spend your evenings mingling and meeting other travelers at one of several nooks in the hotel, from our hammocks on the veranda to the seating areas in the courtyard. The tables in the courtyard are great for enjoying your meals, playing board games or chess, and mixing drinks. During your downtime, sunbathe on the over-the-water deck with loungers accessible to all guests. Enjoy Sandbar’s restaurant and pool. You’ll have drinking water and coffee at reception available all day. The hotel wi-fi is excellent and accessible property-wide (averaging 15-30mbps).
In regards to security, our hotel has a gate with keycode lock for guests-only access, security cameras around the property, and our beach front access way through Sandbar has a night security guard. Drift Inn is great for solo-travelers, with great feedback from solo-traveling women of all ages.
