Caracol Archeological Belize Reserve

The seascape stands at the center of the Mesoamerican reef which is also the largest coral reef system in the western hemisphere. Glover’s Reef is a vital nursery and feeding ground for sea turtles, sharks and rays, and several species of fish. As one of the few true atolls in the Atlantic Ocean, this Reserve is the centerpiece of ecotourism of the Belize Barrier Reef and a World Heritage Site.
