Minutes from San Pedro is the Hol-Chan Marine Reserve. This is a MUST DO snorkel spot when in Belize.
This Reserve is home to over 160 species of fish, along with nearly 40 species of corals, 5 sponges, 8 algae, and 2 sea grasses. You will swim among schools of jacks, groupers, and snappers, as well as nurse sharks, turtles, and rays. Hol-Chan is a value packed snorkel site to visit.
