It was a fantastic location to use as a base for diving and close to lots of great bars and restaurants. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay there again when we return to San Pedro.Posted on A BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Drift Inn! My husband and I have lost count of how many times we’ve stayed there over the years, and somehow it keeps getting better and better!Posted on C KTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely great! Helped me with a golf cart rental and it was seamless and easy. Great location next to the palapa bare. Five stars for the Drift Inn San Pedro, where I stayed for almost a week while exploring La Isla Bonita. The inn is a tranquil and nicely outfitted oasis, a walk of less than 30 seconds to the seashore and only a couple of minutes by foot to the heart of San Pedro's stores and bountiful selection of excellent restaurants. It's a two-story well-kept affair of about a dozen or so rooms, featuring colorful paintings and mosaic-tile murals on the walls, comfortable sitting areas, a small pool at the inner garden/courtyard for a dip of the feet, and available drinking water. The variety of room types are well designed, with AC, good beds, and storage spaces. The hotel has a wonderful arrangement with the adjacent (and greatly expanded) Sandbar Beachfront Hotel by which Drift Inn customers have free access to the Sandbar's rooftop bar, seating area, and infinity pool, complete with a fantastic view to a sea so colorful it looks photoshopped and (in the other direction) to the western sunset. Drift Inn also connects to the Sandbar's ground-floor restaurant, with its delicious food and overall inviting casual ambience. For scuba divers and snorkelers, an abundance of outfitters are an easy walk from the inn, and the inn offers towel rental (that is, if you wish to take a towel with you diving and snorkeling; no fee for towels used at the inn) for the entire stay for a nominal fee. The friendly and helpful inn staff provide recommendations of great things to see and do in San Pedro and Caye Caulker (and, for that matter, on mainland Belize too). The owner, Hailey, will welcome you with good cheer, and it's clear that she has given plenty of thought and care to developing the business to the benefit and needs of customers. I would be remiss, though, if I didn't offer a word about perhaps the real force behind the Drift Inn: the two resident cats. These adorable creatures will befriend you, keep an eye on your well-being, curl up next to you (or on your lap) while you enjoy complimentary morning coffee on the patio, and help ensure you have a special stay. I wholeheartedly recommend.Posted on M PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Loved it! It’s beautiful. Staff is excellent. Vibes are on point. Access to an infinity pool overlooking the water. Truly spectacular.Posted on C STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best place overall for single room stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff and the best location. Being able to walk through the sand bar to the beach, and use their large kitchen over there is awesome. Had the restaurant there cook up some fish that I caught, and it was amazing. Came with two sides per person, and it was only 6 bucks us per person.Showing only 5 star reviews
